Our Packages

  • Our canape menus use only the freshest ingredients and local produce where possible. Much like our a la carte dining menu our canapes are designed to be enjoyed with wine, especially local Riesling.

    Ranging from $52 per person up to $85 per person we are able to cater to a range of budgets and tastes. We are also happy to tailor a menu specifically to your theme and event to make it a truly special and personalised experience for your guests.

    We can also create custom dining menus perfect for sit-down dining for large parties of 12+ guests ranging from $75 per person to $150 per person.

  • We offer a range of beverage options to suit your budget and what kind of event you want to host with us. Both our pay-as-you-go and beverage package options allow you to sample some of Canberra’s finest wines and beers while also being exceptional value. Our constantly revolving selection of local, national and international wines on our list means that we tailor-make beverage packages. Your event will never be the same as anyone else’s! Please see our wine list for an example of the quality of wines and beers we use.

  • A $72 Per person, ‘new release’ 3-hour package gives guests a sample of our favourite wines, including local sparkling, Riesling, and red wines that work with our food. It includes a selection of beers, soft drinks, juice and sparkling water.

    The $89 Per person, ‘vintage’ 3-hour package gives your guests some exclusive drops and premium vintage wines from here in Canberra and further afield. It also includes a selection of premium beers, soft drinks, juice and sparkling water.

    Packages can be extended for an extra $18 per person, per hour, to a maximum of 5 hours.

  • A good option if you’re not sure how much people will drink, or if the budget is getting short. We can organise for your guests to pay for their beverages as they order, or we can also set up a tab with a specified limit to make things easy for you at the end of your event.

    Due to very limited storage and fridge space at Rizla we can only offer so many wines and beers, so if a pay-as-you-go method is your preference for beverage service we will get to visit us a week or two beforehand to make a selection of wines and beers for us to stock up on to ensure quality and speed of service at the event.

    Our beverage service is always bound by our obligations to serve alcohol responsibly, so whatever option you choose you can be assured that you and your guests will have a great time, safely.

Venue Hire

We don’t believe in imposing a venue hire fee. Instead we do require a minimum spend be met that is set to cover what business we would usually do at the time of your booking.

Our minimum spends do change based on the time of the day, day of the week, and month of the year. Please contact us for up to date minimum spends.

Areas

  • Reserving Rizla in its entirety for your event guarantees you exclusive use of one of Braddon’s hottest spots. Our alfresco dining zones, coupled with our indoor bar and bench dining creates space for a maximum of 50 guests for stand-up canapes, or 35 seated guests. You will be the envy of hundreds of passers-by as you enjoy exquisite food and wine from our professional and accommodating team.

  • Rizla can also be divided into two zones to accommodate a smaller private party for you, while avoiding the expense of booking the entire venue. Our alfresco dining area hugging Elouera Street to the south is an idyllic way to whittle away an evening for up to 30 guests stand-up or 22 guests seated.
